You don’t have to be different on purpose.
You don’t have to stand apart from everyone else.
You don’t have to make a statement.
Just listen to yourself.
Follow your own sense of what feels right.
Choose the things you believe are good, beautiful, meaningful—
even when nobody else chooses them.
And if, somewhere along the way,
you find yourself walking a little differently from everyone else,
that’s okay.
In fact,
that’s the point.
Because individuality isn’t something you have to create.
It isn’t a costume.
It isn’t a label.
It isn’t something you earn by trying to be unique.
You already have it.
You were born with it.
Maybe the world has simply been teaching you to hide it.
So you don’t have to try so hard.
You don’t have to become someone else.
You don’t even have to become “special.”
Just be yourself.
Listen to that quiet voice inside you.
The one that says,
I like this.
I don’t like that.
This feels right.
This feels like me.
Follow it.
And one day, you may look around and realize—
you are standing somewhere no one else is standing.
Not because you tried to be different.
But because you had the courage to remain yourself.
That’s individuality.
That’s your edge.
